Simple and yummy! A must try!
2 small apples, cored and sliced into small pieces
2 Tbsp honey
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped pecans
Core and slice apples and place in medium saucepan on medium heat.
Add honey and cinnamon.
Cook on medium for 20 mins or until apples are soft, stirring frequently.
Add nuts and increase heat, stirring often until liquid is absorbed or evaporated.
Serve with a dollop of plain yogurt
Note: you can omit the nuts and use dried fruit instead. In that case, add the dried fruit after most of the liquid is absorbed and the apples have been removed from the heat.
